Your Future as a Project Manager
This presentation focuses on the challenges of today’s project managers, the issues facing the profession in the near future, and the specific skills a project manager must attain and continue to enhance to remain successful in this very challenging and demanding discipline. The presentation addresses the specific skills required to achieve organizational goals, meet project objectives and continually add value from a client and supplier perspective with emphasis on business skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills and project management competency. The gaps between project manager and executive management are identified and possible actions to close those gaps are offered. The presentation also addresses the need for and importance of work life balance life and concludes with a discussion about techniques for further developing an effective and value driven leadership style.

Keynote Speaker, PMP Exam Prep, Project Leadership
Frank P. Saladis, PMP®, is a Consultant and Instructor / Facilitator within the project management profession. He is a Project Management Professional and has been a featured presenter at the Project Management Institute ® Annual Symposia and World Congresses and many other project management events. Mr. Saladis is a graduate of the PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class and has held several positions within The Project Management Institute including President of the NYC Chapter, President of the Assembly of Chapter Presidents and Chair of the Education and Training Specific Interest Group. Mr. Saladis held the position of editor of the internationally distributed newsletter for allPM.com from 2004 to 2011 and is the author of several project management books and numerous articles about project leadership. The most recent published book – Positive Leadership in Project Management was released in March 2013. Mr. Saladis is the originator of International Project Management Day and was recognized as PMI ® Person of the Year for 2006. Mr. Saladis was received the prestigious award of PMI Fellow in October 2013 and was the recipient of the PMI Distinguished Contribution Award in October 2015.
