International Community of Practice: DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
We would like to invite you for the first event of our new international Community of Practice that will address various aspects of digital and organization transformations. Community run by the Paris branch of the PMI France chapter will organize regular events and will provide opportunities for networking, experience sharing, publishing and speaking.
Theme of the event:
Digital Transformation is a topic on the top of a list of many CEOs as well as non-profit organization leaders. Its overall urgency became even more apparent due the business impact of pandemic we all witnessed since the beginning of 2020. Yet at the same time, it is reported that majority of digital transformation efforts fail or under-deliver.
Why is that? Digital Transformation requires clarity of a vision, execution strategy, and engaged team. All of these elements are critical for the success, yet each of them relies on different skillset and competencies. Benefits of a digital transformation materialize by adoption of technologies, but at the same time are based on change of people behavior. Combination of these disciplines brings high-level of complexity and as such is not an easy task to tackle.
On the kick-off event we will address topics of a necessary culture shift, organizational changes and dealing with resistance, and the key question of talent. We will discuss the path to upskilling and revisiting competencies and getting your workforce ready for the future.

Viktoria Otero del Val:
Viktoria is Senior Vice President of Strategy, Product and Customer experience in Sodexo Benefits & Rewards Services. Passionate about digital transformation, she leads global teams in product, digital marketing, sales and customer experience to deliver on Sodexo’s promise of “bringing to life a personalized employee experience at home and beyond” in 31 countries. In order to enrich and personalize customer experience, she also develops a large eco-system of external partners. Graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard College, she has over 20 years of experience in leading strategy, business development, M&A and operational teams. She started her career in strategy consulting in McKinsey, to then contribute to and lead teams in corporations undertaking profound transformations such as EDF Retail Branch at the moment of energy market opening, Thales Alenia Space confronted to New Space, and most recently digital transformation at Sodexo.
Lenka is an international leader of organizational transformations and strategic changes. Her focus is on enhancing business agility by building culture of efficient teams, driving digital transformation and aligning business and IT strategies. Her main expertise is based on 20 years of practice and lies in setting strategic vision, driving complex changes and coaching of agile teams and management.
Lenka has Diploma in Computer Science of the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, with specialization in Software Engineering. She also holds Digital Excellence Diploma at IMD, Business School of Switzerland.
