It seems that society has largely forgotten. This amnesia has led to #iLookLikeAnEngineer, the "Google's Ideological Echo Chamber" memo, and Gamergate. Haven’t heard of these incidents? Come join in this conference about these incidents, what led to a drop in women’s participation in computing, and the need to put the women pioneers back into the history books of computing

Anne Lee is a Bell Labs Fellow working as a Senior Technology Advisor in the Technology Leadership Office. She has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Anne is a technologist at heart and an electrical engineer and computer scientist by training.
